1 skein project!! 😮 Crop top Crochet

Welcome back guys 😄

Spring has sprung. The weather has got a lot warmer. Summer is on the way! ☉

I love making clothing items and decided to give a crop top a go for my upcoming summer holiday it will look so cute over a bikini.

Literally took me one day to make and only using 1 skein of 50 g yarn. To me that’s pretty awesome! I will be on the look out for more 1 skein projects to share with you all.

Ceramic painting

Hi guys 🖐

I had wanted to try painting ceramics. As you can see I decided to give it a go. I had played around with the idea of using brushes and paint, but with the detail I wanted I didn’t feel I would of had enough control over the paintbrush.

I then discovered the magical world of paint markers! I will leave a link below of the markers I purchased. They are great quality and very reasonably priced.

I wanted to either paint my own mug or a set of tea and sugar pots. Of course I made both 😂

I doodled little objects on each pot and wrote a quote on each one. The mug is inspired by the pixar movie up! I love how they turned out and they are pride of place on my kitchen counter.

Sealant then needs to be applied to protect the paint. I used mod podge dishwasher safe. So when they need washed I will have no problems with paint pealing off or cracking. This is an amazing product and would highly recommend purchasing to seal any of your ceramic art. Link below to the product.

Happy crafting my lovelies.

I look forward to more ceramic painting in the near future 😘

Liam the leprechaun -crochet

Happy St Patrick’s day ☘

This is Liam the leprechaun. Loved every minute of crocheting this little guy. He is on showcase all year through not just for St Patricks day in my house, he is way too cute to hide away.

The detail in this amigurumi project was crazy, which why i think he turned out so amazing. There was a lot of thought and effort put into this pattern. I adjusted the pattern slightly to suit my own style you can work it up whatever way you like also.

As you can see below he has been on his adventures in the beautiful Irish countryside. Up to mischief and searching for rainbows 🌈

Crochet Poncho

Welcome back guys!

Thought i would share a little bit of inspiration with you all.

I have always wanted to make my own poncho. Finally got around to giving it a go. I have been loving the mustard and black colour combinations that have been big this year in the high street stores.

You can use any colour combination you like. Just choose your favourite colours and go for it.

Please see above my finished project. I am in love with it and cannot wait to get wearing it!

Have fun and keep crafting x

Crocheted Donut pouffe

Welcome hookers! 🖐

This is another big art attack I decided to make. For myself for a change 😊

A lot like the rubiks cube, it is massive in size! And one of my first crochet projects I took on. Looking back I think, how did I even tackle this. Quite a daunting task for a newbie.

Not only a bit of a task. Back then i had no idea how to follow a pattern and relied on YouTube for everything crochet. Don’t worry if this is you as it is totally normal, pattern reading is difficult at the start. I promise, you will eventually pick it up and it’s soooo easy when you know how! Keep at it.

If you would like to have a go at this go check out the youtube video of twinkiechantv, for a step to step guide.

Have fun my lovelies!

Don’t forget follow my blog to keep up to date on all my upcoming creations 😘 x
